Emma Ve started to feel the music after graduating from high school. She moved to Jogjakarta, Indonesia and studied at Gadjah Mada University and took Chemistry major. In her spare time, she performed with her acoustic band Unity at Radisson Hotel Jogjakarta in 2000. The responses were great and ended up getting more gigs at five star hotel lounges and local bars. Emma Ve officially joined two bands that played regular gigs. Unity Acoustic played at Radisson Hotel Lounge and Sunrise Band played at a local bar until July 2004 when she relocated to the United States. Until now, she gets invitations to sing at different venues.
